Who we recruit
We recruit RNs, RPNs and nurse practitioners for long-term care homes, retirement residences, home and community care, clinics and hospitals across Ontario, for permanent roles and for contracts where they suit your staffing plan.
College of Nurses of Ontario registration
Anyone working as a nurse in Ontario must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). The CNO assesses education, recent nursing practice and language proficiency, and applicants must pass the registration exam for their category — the NCLEX-RN for registered nurses or the REx-PN for registered practical nurses. Nurse practitioners have additional requirements.
For internationally educated nurses, registration is usually the longest step. We confirm each candidate's CNO status and timeline before you interview, so offers line up with when they can actually start.
Canadian and international sourcing
We recruit nurses already registered in Ontario, nurses moving from other provinces, and internationally educated nurses at different stages of CNO registration. For international hires, hospitals and nursing and residential care facilities are exempt from the refusal to process low-wage LMIAs in high-unemployment areas, and many registered nurse positions pay above Ontario's high-wage threshold. Our licensed consultants handle the LMIA and the nurse's work permit.
Where we recruit
We fill nursing roles across the Greater Toronto Area and throughout Ontario, including smaller communities where shortages are most acute.
How we work with employers
- 01
Workforce brief
We learn the roles, headcount, wages, shifts, location and start dates, and the licences or certificates each role requires.
- 02
Sourcing plan
We decide where to look — local talent, other provinces or international candidates — and whether an LMIA or an LMIA-exempt route is realistic for each role.
- 03
Screening
Structured interviews, reference checks and verification of credentials, licences and work eligibility before you meet anyone.
- 04
Shortlist and offer
You interview a shortlist of qualified candidates. We help with the offer and, for international hires, the immigration steps.
- 05
Arrival and onboarding
We coordinate start dates, arrival and onboarding, and check in after the worker starts.
Frequently asked questions
Can an internationally educated nurse start work before CNO registration?
Not as a nurse. Until the CNO registers them, they can't practise nursing or use a nursing title in Ontario. Some take other roles, such as personal support work, while registration is in progress.
Do you recruit RPNs as well as RNs?
Yes. We recruit registered nurses, registered practical nurses and nurse practitioners, and match each to the scope of practice your role requires.
How long does hiring an international nurse take?
It depends mostly on CNO registration and immigration processing, which can take many months. We give you a realistic timeline for each candidate rather than a single promise.
