Manufacturing Recruitment
Manufacturing recruitment for Ontario plants — production and machine operators, welders, maintenance technicians, quality staff and supervisors, including food manufacturing.
Roles we recruit for
- Production workers
- Machine operators
- CNC machinists
- Welders and fabricators
- Industrial mechanics (millwrights)
- Maintenance technicians
- Quality control inspectors
- Forklift operators
- Food processing workers
- Production supervisors
Who we recruit
We recruit for automotive parts, metal fabrication, plastics, packaging, food and beverage processing and other manufacturing operations — production, skilled maintenance, quality and supervisory roles.
Skills checks and certifications
Depending on the role, we verify trade certificates, welding qualifications such as Canadian Welding Bureau tests, forklift training, WHMIS and food safety training, and we can arrange practical skills assessments before a candidate reaches your floor.
Canadian and international sourcing
We recruit locally and across Canada first. Food manufacturing is exempt from ESDC's refusal to process low-wage LMIAs in high-unemployment areas and has a 20% cap on low-wage temporary foreign workers, so food processors can still recruit internationally. Other manufacturers in the Toronto area face the low-wage restriction, but skilled roles paid at or above the high-wage threshold can still go through an LMIA.
Where we recruit
We serve manufacturers across the Greater Toronto Area and the Golden Horseshoe, Southwestern Ontario and other industrial regions.
How we work with employers
- 01
Workforce brief
We learn the roles, headcount, wages, shifts, location and start dates, and the licences or certificates each role requires.
- 02
Sourcing plan
We decide where to look — local talent, other provinces or international candidates — and whether an LMIA or an LMIA-exempt route is realistic for each role.
- 03
Screening
Structured interviews, reference checks and verification of credentials, licences and work eligibility before you meet anyone.
- 04
Shortlist and offer
You interview a shortlist of qualified candidates. We help with the offer and, for international hires, the immigration steps.
- 05
Arrival and onboarding
We coordinate start dates, arrival and onboarding, and check in after the worker starts.
Frequently asked questions
Can food processing plants still hire foreign workers?
Yes. Food manufacturing is exempt from the refusal to process low-wage LMIAs, though advertising, wage and cap rules still apply.
Do you test candidates' practical skills?
For skilled roles such as welders and machinists, we can arrange practical assessments in addition to interviews and reference checks.
Can you recruit a team for a new production line?
Yes. We plan volume recruitment around your ramp-up schedule and the mix of local and international hiring it needs.
